Womens Golf Clubs for Beginners - Shopping Guide

How often will you be playing: 

  • This a very important question that you need to think about. If you're playing 1 time a month, then you can easily get away with a starter set that has a few clubs, a bag, and this will do the trick.
  • If you're playing 10 times a month, that is a different story, as we would recommend a set that comes equipped with more clubs, a brand that is very durable, and this will allow you to have success on the golf course.

How tall are you: 

  • This may sound crazy, but you read that right. Height matters because we carry petite, standard, and tall golf clubs for ladies.
  • Petite Golf Clubs are for women who are 5 foot 4 and shorter.
  • Standard golf clubs are for women who are 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 7.
  • If you're taller than 5 foot 7, we have tall golf clubs.

What is your athletic ability: 

  • Athletic ability is an important factor when selecting an options here.
  • If you haven't played sports in your life and golf is the first sport you are playing, we suggest getting a set that has "friendly clubs faces." What does that mean? It means that when you mis hit a golf ball, the club is forgiving and you will still hit a nice shot.
  • If you're considered to be athletic, we would suggest something that gives you more distance on clean contact, but that club would be less forgiving on miss hits.
