Jumbo grips have larger surface area than traditional grips which allows pressure to be more evenly distributed. As a result, jumbo grips are highly recommended for those with arthritis and other hand and wrist conditions since they can significantly reduce pain & discomfort. If you are considering trying jumbo grips for the first time, Golfers Pro Shop recommends purchasing one club and trying it out first before making a significant investment. Some women with smaller hands find jumbo grips to be too cumbersome.
